Cuttlefish Fair
It is not spring without the Sagra della Seppia (Cuttlefish Festival). The event, organised every year in March by the association Antichi Sapori di Romagna, opens the doors to the warm season with delicious traditional dishes.
If you love the flavours of the sea, you cannot miss it! Here you will be able to taste many local specialities, including risotto alla marinara, cuttlefish kebabs, mixed fried fish, and spaghetti with the scent of the sea.
You can rediscover the flavours of some now-forgotten recipes, such as cuttlefish stew and eels in brodetto. I recommend trying cuttlefish with peas, a really tasty Romagna speciality!
All dishes are prepared strictly by hand, according to the secrets of tradition, handed down from generation to generation and still jealously guarded in household recipe books. Just like the piadina, which is cooked at the moment to arrive on your table warm, fragrant and simply delicious.
