The activities of the project Giochiamo al museo (Let's play at the museum) of MUSA, Cervia's Salt Museum, the series of initiatives dedicated to children, but also to adults, continue in December.

With these workshops, MUSA, Cervia's Salt Museum, wants to emphasise the city's deep connection with the sea, which not only provides the raw material in the salt production process, but was also the main trade route for the precious white gold.

The workshops are free of charge and included in the museum entrance ticket.

Program

Sunday 19 January
15:00 - 17:00

Workshop: A mascot of my own organised by the Cooperativa Atlantide

Making puppets using recycled materials to create the animals that populate the salt marsh: a ‘sound’ bird with paints, scissors, glue and recycled materials. The aim is both to teach people to recognise the fauna of the salt marsh and to breathe new life into disused materials.

Workshop: To each his own sail by the cultural association La Pantofla

Children will have fun creating sails and painting them with typical ochre colours. They will thus relive the ancient custom of sails drawn with the symbols of the various families of sailors, in the shape of a trapezoid with ochre colours obtained from natural earth.

Sunday 2 February
3 p.m. - 5 p.m.
