A maximum of 36 teams are present at the event, competing for the net and gross rankings, with the best two scores per hole formula.
Professionals include golfers from the European tour, Olympic champions and athletes from international circuits such as Matteo Manassero, Nino Bertasio, Emanule Canonica, Guido Migliozzi, Renato Paratore, Lorenzo Gagli, Francesco Laporta and many other great players who have given us their magnificent swings during pro-am the event.
Over the years, well-known sports personalities such as Alessandro Del Piero, Alessio Tacchinardi, Mirko Vucinic, Simone Pepe, Daniele Massaro and many others have also taken part in the competition.
Amateur players also come from a very select target group.
Great sponsors and great prizes, golfing and non-golfing events, gourmet bouvettes and real dinner shows accompany the players during the two days of the tournament in the name of golf, friendship and fun.
The Adriatic Golf Club Cervia
The 27 holes of this golf club's course are spread over an area of almost 100 hectares bordering the ancient pine forest and a still fascinating sea. In 1986, the 9 holes of the red course, designed by architect Marco Croze, were opened in an unspoilt pine forest. The following year, Croze's project was brought to completion with the opening of the blue course, which not only led to 18 holes, but also made the course extremely pleasant and varied, as these holes were and still are surrounded by lakes and are reminiscent of the great American courses. In 2004, the synergy between the professional Baldovino Dassù and the architect Alvise Rossi Fioravanti brought the Association to the achievement of 27 holes, creating an additional 9-hole course (the yellow) with a completely innovative design inspired by Scottish links.
