With different lengths, it retraces the same routes, starting with a 1.9 km swimming section from Cervia beach. It then continues with a 90 km bicycle route, which crosses the Cervia Saltpan Nature Reserve and the hinterland, to climb up through the hills to Bertinoro, known as the Balcony of Romagna for its splendid views.
At the end of the race, the 21.1-kilometre run route that passes through the most identifiable places of Cervia and Milano Marittima.
Swim course (1.9 km)
The one-loop swim course starts on the beach of Cervia. Athletes enter the Adriatic Sea and face one turn to the left before turning back and swimming parallel to the shore to complete the course with two more right turns.
Bike course (90 km)
The one-loop bike course starts on the promenade of Cervia and leads through the countryside of Romagna for one lap. Be sure to take a moment and marvel at the pink flamingos in the picturesque Natural Park of Salt Pans.
Run course (21.1 km)
The three-loop run course is flat and offers beautiful views of Cervia and Milano Marittima. Athletes will pass the center of Cervia and run by the city's historic and iconic salt warehouse before making their way to the finish line.
