Discover the route

Gravel means unpaved roads. But not just dust. Starting from Cervia, beyond the Saltpan valleys, increasing the route by a few kilometres we reach the first hills. Here the road, mostly white, becomes more challenging. But beautiful. The climbs of Bertinoro, Collinello, Polenta, and Tessello, legendary for road bikes, become exciting when tackled with ‘fat tyres'. The landscape is a real dive into the green. And, immersed in this fantastic world, even the 9% climb to Bertinoro, home of Albana, becomes rideable.
On the return to Cervia, crossing the salt pans with its pink flamingos, you realise that "life is like the bicycle: if you want to stay balanced you have to move".
