The ‘Aquadulcis’ exhibition, after its exhibition at the Magazzini del Sale on the occasion of Sapore di Sale, moves to the Maria Gioia Municipal Library. 

The photos, taken at the salt works in the winter following the flood of 2023, are intended to depict the consequences of the passage of fresh water, which has affected not only the flora of the salt environment, but also the machinery. The images convey the relationship between nature and man, who centuries ago transformed a marshy area into a productive environment and a natural oasis. Today, with the return of the salt water inside the ponds and the restart of the machinery, the local flora has also returned to populate the environment.

The project won the 21st Festival Fotoincontri in San Felice Sul Panaro and is a finalist in the national competition Portfolio Italia 2024 organised by FIAF (Federazione Italiana Associazioni Fotografiche). Luana Viaggi's portfolio consists of 15 black and white diptychs. The images will be exhibited together with two large format colour photos.
