Bunker Tobruk
The German bunkers and dragon's teeth were intended to defend the Gothic line of the front, in particular from seaborne assaults. They were scattered along a long stretch of coast and some remained buried for a long time. Almost all the bunkers present in our territory are of the Tobruk type. They were buried and occupied by one to two people, they had a circular opening in the roof, from which a machine gun or mortar could be used. Many of these today have become cellars or closets of private homes. The one connected to Regelbau 668 can still be visited, others are under renovation.
