Ravenna Festival is one of the most important multidisciplinary festivals in Italy: concerts, theater, dance, musicals, opera with the best artists in the world.

The festival takes its cue from the Romagna tradition of Trebbo and the pioneering readings of Walter Della Monica and “Toni” Comello.
Music and cinema are the common thread of this edition.
Opening the festival is Pupi Avati on June 6 with an evening in the Rotonda Primo Maggio on music, film and life, accompanied by the music of a jazz quartet (free admission).
For the other evenings the appointment is at the Arena dei Pini. On June 13 Laura Morante presents a tribute to Giacomo Puccini on the centenary of his death, on June 18 Margherita Vicario is in concert with Orchestra La Corelli, on June 20 Gabriella Ghermandi and her ensemble present Maqeda, a tale about the beauty of Ethiopian music. It continues on June 27 with Riccarda Casadei to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Romagna Mia, and on June 30Orchestra 014 celebrates Piero Piccioni, author of many soundtracks to Italian comedies. On July 4 the festival closes with Paolo Fresu and Cuban pianist Omar Sosa and their Food, a celebration of the pleasures of the table.
