After an initial stretch that coincides with the Salt and pinewood route, we stretch towards Forlimpopoli, with its 14th-century fortress, home of gastronomy and Pellegrino Artusi.
From here, following the embankment of the Ronco river through a shady stretch in the wood, you arrive in Forli. Here you change river and begin following the Montone embankment. The two rivers run many kilometres almost parallel, creating two mountain valleys that arrive as far as Ravenna, where they suddenly merge, giving rise to the 'united rivers'.
Then on to Classe and through the pine forest to Milano Marittima.
