Church
Chiesa di Sant'Andrea Apostolo
Built around 1860, to perpetuate the memory of an ancient parish church which was already mentioned in the 12th century, the Church of S. Andrea is in neoclassical style. Originally with a single nave, the Church currently has two lateral extensions following interventions dating back to the first decades of the last century. Near the presbytery there are two chapels with round arches, dedicated respectively to the Virgin and to the S.S. Sacrament. The apse is separated from the central nave by a large round arch, above which is placed a Crucifix painted on wood of considerable value. The background of the apse is decorated with a square-shaped mosaic depicting the apostle St. Andrew, to whom the Church is dedicated. The bell tower, dating back to 1920, damaged at the top first by lightning and then by war events, has recently been the subject of recovery works.
