Wednesday 25 June for Ravenna Festival - Il trebbo in musica concert Il cielo è pieno di stelle by Fabrizio Bosso and Julian Oliver Mazzariello, a tribute to Pino Daniele.
The performance by the two musicians, Fabrizio Bosso on trumpet and Julian Oliver Mazzariello on piano, retraces Daniele's different musical trajectories, seeking to render an unprecedented portrait of the Neapolitan singer-songwriter. The intention is not a simple reinterpretation, but to dress up an already great music with new and authentic colours, making extraordinary melodies resonate with the timbre and poetry of two exceptional protagonists of contemporary jazz.
The repertoire embraces a wide range of songs, from the unfailing Napule è to the enthralling Je so' pazzo and the magic of Quanno chiove.
