Ravenna Festival - Dardust
Tuesday 24 June for Ravenna Festival - Il trebbo in musica concert by Dardust, producer, composer and pianist, who presents Urban Impressionism, his new album.
The album represents a true synthesis capable of recomposing his dichotomies. Dardust once again challenges the conventions of contemporary music by breaking down the boundaries between the arts, uniting music and architecture, harmonising contrasts but starting from new sources of inspiration. On the one hand, the architectural geometries of urban suburbs, from brutalism to post-modernism, which in music are translated into genuine expressions without recourse to embellishments or production artifices; on the other, the rapid brushstrokes of pictorial impressionism, reflected in his approach to composition.
