The Ecomuseo delle Erbe Palustri of Villanova di Bagnacavallo (Eco museum of Marsh Grass in Bagnacavallo), a few km from Ravenna, organizes workshops to try out traditional local marsh grass and wood craftsmanship, on 8th and 9th March and 15th and 16th March 2025.
Among the courses offered, there are: straw weaving for chair seats, willow basketry and marsh grass weaving.
The courses are aimed at adults who will get to know the methods of preparing the raw materials and will learn the basic weaving techniques to make a product, under the guidance of an expert teacher.
