Gathering of the Passatore
The first Passatore was put into construction by the Cantiere Nautico Sartini in 1970. Built in 136 examples, it was presented at the 1971 Genoa Sailing Week.
The boat was built to a design by Finot, a young French designer who went on to become world famous.
Cantiere Sartini is an icon in the history of sailing, famous for its skilled shipwrights, able to create fast boats often from scratch, sometimes without even a preliminary drawing. Names like Corsaire, Muscadet, Mousquetaire, Pagadebit, Harlequin, Passatore and Azdor represented a dream for those who sailed from the 1960s to the late 1980s.
There are currently more than 70 Passatores in the world.
