Grand Hotel Cervia
The Grand Hotel Cervia was built by the Cooperativa Muratori based on a project by the owner Eng. Mario Consolaro from Stresa who managed it for two years. The inauguration took place on 15 June 1931, after the Municipality had, in turn, arranged the square in front and had the artistic fountain built which was sculpted in 1929 by Prof. Giuseppe Casalini. It had 60 rooms with 100 beds, 8 common bathrooms, cold running water in all rooms, partially hot. When Viale Lungomare was built in 1938, the Municipality of Cervia gave a new layout to the square by demolishing, among other things, the side garages away from the main building and rebuilding them adjacent.
