Cervia offers a host of stunning locations for your wedding, including the two historic salt warehouses overlooking the canal: Magazzino Torre and Magazzino Darsena.
Built in 1691 and 1712 respectively, they were used to store the precious “white gold” produced in the salt pans from March to October. The salt was then loaded onto traditional flat-bottomed boats known as burchielle and transported down the canal to the harbour.
These days, they are no longer used as warehouses but they remain a stunning example of our industrial heritage.
