We are delighted to welcome you to the Casa delle Farfalle house of butterflies, a haven of biodiversity where visitors can immerse themselves among the butterflies and insects in a spectacular botanical garden.

In the beautiful setting of Cervia’s pine forest, the Casa delle Farfalle is a unique destination for anyone who enjoys the always enchanting and surprising sight that only nature can offer: 60 species of tropical butterflies, 20 species of insects from all over the world, 100 species of plants and a 500 m2 tropical greenhouse.

The greenhouse is home to hundreds of colourful butterflies from Africa, Asia, America, and Australia; the visitor paths allow you to get a close-up view of them, sitting on flowers or on the large leaves of ficus and banana trees.

Butterflies have always symbolised fragility, transformation, and being carefree, which is why they make the perfect motif for weddings.
Butterflies are ideal for invitations, place cards and favours.

So why not consider a twist on the traditional butterfly motif, by releasing them in a colourful display on your wedding day? As you leave the church, during the toast, the cutting of the cake, or during your wedding photos, the butterflies can be released either from a single box held by the happy couple, or your guests can be provided with a small box each containing a single butterfly.

These wonderful, graceful creatures will fly away to freedom in search of new flowers and fields whilst delighting your guests. Not only will they make your wedding unique, you will also be doing something important for nature: after being released, the butterflies will repopulate the natural environment around them where they play a crucial role as pollinators. An original idea for a unique and unforgettable splash of colour at your wedding.
