Christmas and New Year in Cervia and Milano Marittima
The Christmas atmosphere pervades Cervia with an air of festivity, while Milano Marittima, the garden city, lights up with sparkling lights.
In anticipation of the surprises in store for the coming festivities, I describe what the atmosphere was like at Christmas 2023 and New Year's Eve 2024 on my Riviera.

Adults can look for some gift ideas in Piazza Garibaldi, whilst in the ‘Elf Garden’ children can meet elves, reindeer, ice queens and maybe even the grinch. Or the whole family can go ice skating together on a rink overlooked by the twinkling Christmas tree.
