Adriatic Tennis Championship - Annual event
This annual event has been held here for more than 50 years. In May the clay courts of the Tennis Club Mare e Pineta in Milano Marittima host the Adriatic Championship, the international seniors tournament.
What began as a tournament for amateurs became the World Seniors Team Championships in the 1980s, known as the Coppa Dubler.
These days, the tournament is contested by world class players from all age categories and is ranked as a “Grade 1” Italian tournament.
If you are a tennis fan, then our clay courts are the place to watch all the excitement of a well-placed forehand, a diving volley, and powerful serves. And whilst you enjoy the match, there is plenty on offer for people who are not tennis fans, including walks, MTB rides, wellness treatments in the spa, cultural tours, and food and drink tastings. We really have thought of everything!
