Cervia Thermal Baths - mud in the solarium

The prized black mud is created from the microorganisms and sediments that settle and concentrate on the bottom of the salt collection basins. Comparable in composition and effectiveness to that of the Dead Sea, it is exclusive to the Cervia establishment. An organic, living material that is left to mature for years in hyperthermal water. When properly filtered, it has a beneficial effect on arthrosis, osteoporosis, rheumatism and for aesthetic and dermatological problems. In particular, a recent study has highlighted the role of mud-balneotherapy in combating psoriasis. Liman mud can be applied hot, at around 40 degrees, or at room temperature, taking care to leave the most delicate areas, such as the chest and throat, free. Mud therapy can be carried out in a solarium, and in comfortable private environments. In a solarium, open in the summer months, the combined effect of the mud and the sun's rays reinforces the healing powers of the treatment. The application of the mud is followed by a bath in a tub with Acqua Madre which can be combined with hydromassage and ozone therapy to complete the effectiveness of the treatment. A very effective option is the application of the mud inside a capsule vaporized at 38°C which maintains and strengthens the sauna effect.
