From the trails in the lush pine forests of Milano Marittima, Pinarella and Tagliata, to the Promenade along the shore in Milano Marittima and Cervia, via the old town and the Borgo Marina overlooking the canal where the traditional fishing boats are still moored, and on to the salt pans and the protected reserve.
Cycling is one of the best ways to explore Cervia, so you can be sure that you won't miss any of the views. Here in Cervia there are more than 60 km of cycle paths where you can enjoy quiet bike rides and perhaps stop off for a delicious Italian ice cream along the way.
Did you know that there is a ferry between Cervia and Milano Marittima which is only open to pedestrians and cyclists? If you want to explore this beautiful region by bike, take a look at some of the trails that start in Cervia.
You can ride to Ravenna, for example, an easy route which is suitable for everyone, to a destination rich in history and culture.
Along the way you may well encounter deer and some of the other animals that live in this unspoiled habitat.
Remember to keep your eyes peeled! The scenery varies greatly along the route, from the deep blue ocean to the lush green countryside, rewarding you with ever-changing views.
